Jos van Kleef

Jos van Kleef succeeded Ward Koopmans as chairman of the ADAS Alliance on 1 January 2025. He is no stranger to the world of smart mobility and road safety. Van Kleef started his career in 1986 at HBW and made a name for himself as CEO of both Vialis and Goudappel. Under his leadership, both organisations grew into market leaders in the Netherlands and also managed to gain a foothold internationally. The first months as chairman of the ADAS Alliance are now behind us – high time to get to know him a little better. “My passion for technology and innovation, especially when it comes to road safety, has always been my driving force.”

Auke van Wersch

Auke van Wersch represents the Ministry of Infrastructure and Water Management on the ADAS Kernteam, where he serves as a Smart Mobility policy officer. He has a background in mobility policy and digital transition and has previously worked on a variety of mobility projects at the intersection of innovation, regulation, and behavioral change. "Within the Ministry, I focus on digital traffic management, the rise of smart vehicle technology, such as ADAS, and the role of the government in a rapidly changing mobility system."

Chiel van Lent

Chiel van Lent is a Public Affairs Advisor at the ANWB (Royal Dutch Touring Club) and a member of the ADAS Kernteam. As an advocate and mobility expert, he works daily on behalf of ANWB members to ensure the efficient and safe use of the existing road network and brings infrastructure issues to the attention of political decision-makers. He also closely monitors developments in Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles.

Jos van den Broek

Jos van den Broek is a manager at the Association of Dutch Car Leasing Companies (VNA) and one of the eight members of the ADAS Kernteam. He 'lives and breathes' (auto)mobility and works passionately on behalf of the leasing sector on policy issues related to sustainability, taxation, and road safety. He believes that mobility is everyone's responsibility, and therefore it must be sustainable, smart, safe, accessible, and affordable for everyone.

Floske Weehuizen

Floske Weehuizen is a program manager and policy advisor for Mobility at the Dutch Association of Insurers and a member of the ADAS Kernteam. Despite the fact that her own car only has one driver-assistance system ("Those beeps while reversing can be quite useful sometimes!"), she is passionately committed to further improving the safe use of ADAS.

Dyon van Stigt

Dyon van Stigt is a Mobility and Road Safety Policy Advisor at BOVAG and a core team member within the alliance. Road safety is a crucial pillar of BOVAG's strategic direction. Therefore, Dyon's clear mission is to champion the interests of its more than 8,000 affiliated members and the safety of road users.

Patrick Greven-Kogler

Patrick Greven-Kogler has been Policy Advisor for Sustainability and Technology at the RAI Association for a year and a member of the core team of the ADAS Alliance. With over twenty years of experience in the automotive industry—including in homologation and product management—he operates at the intersection of technology, regulations, and market implementation.
