Today, Minister Harbers and directors of ANWB, BOVAG, the Dutch Association of Insurers, the Association of Dutch Car Leasing Companies (VNA), RDW and the RAI Association signed the renewed ADAS Covenant. The covenant is a follow-up to an earlier covenant from 2019. This covenant is aimed at increasing the safe use of driver assistance systems in cars.

ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems) can contribute to traffic safety, sustainability and traffic flow on the road. The condition is that the driver uses the functions in a safe and responsible manner. The ADAS Alliance will continue to actively work on this in the coming years.
